MACRAME – Agnes Hansella
Native patterns and totems, similar to Agnes's own Dayak origin
Agnes Hansella is a textile artist (with a background in sound engineering). In 2017, she self-learns the art of macrame. Her work spans from a small wall hanging to a building size knotting. In each project, Agnes works with communities and local artisans. Some pieces she knots in her home studio by herself. Her art is mainly focused on the creation of macrame.
